Then I heard about The Diaper Sprayer. Spraying the poo into the toilet sounded so much easier than any other option I had heard of! (Including swooshing the diaper around in the toilet!) So I contacted The Diaper Sprayer company and received a sprayer for review!
When the sprayer arrived in the mail, I was SO ready to install it and make my diapering life easier! So I set to trying to install it myself... except I didn't check the hookups before hand. After getting the toilet disconnected and ready for the diaper sprayer, I realized that the sizes of the hoses didn't match up. (The Diaper Sprayer company sells the reducer to make it fit!) Thankfully I was moving later that week, so I just waited til we got into the new house! Once into our new home, I had Zac install it right away! It was VERY easy to install, only taking a couple of minutes, and even easier to use! No messy pooey sprays!
I'm officially loving my Diaper Sprayer... and now it's your turn for a chance to love the Diaper Sprayer! They have kindly donated a White Diaper Sprayer for one reader to win!

Well, luckily, I am still breastfeeding exclusivly! So, poop isn't a big deal yet. I usually just throw it in the washer and do a quick rinse/spin only with no soap and cold water. Then, I just throw it into the wetbag for a later wash! However, she is getting closer everyday to eating real food and I am going to be needing that diaper sprayer!! LOL!

I dunk in the toilet. Have thought about a diaper sprayer because dunking is gross, but they just cost so much.

Right not its not hard to get rid of the poo off our diapers. Kieran is still 100% EBF so her poo's aren't thick and a quick rinse under water works or even just tossing them into the washer. But since she's 6mo old now and we plan to start solids around 7mo I know her poos will get thicker and harder to get off.

Until recently we were exclusively breastfeeding, but just started solids and now need a diaper sprayer! I've been using wipes to pick the poo (Ewww!!!) off the diaper and throw into the toilet. I could REALLY use the diaper sprayer!

Most of it just plops right into the toilet, but if my daughter has a particularly gooey diaper I use toilet paper to get as much off as possible.

Yuck, first of all, i hate poopy diapers. But, i made liners out of polyester blankets and I *try* to remember to line each diaper. then i just take the liner and swish it in the toilet. if i forget the liner then i have to take the insert out and swish the whole diaper. Its gross.

I generally scoop the poops off with a wipe. This works particularly well on really solid poopies, not so great with the ones that are not-quite-solid. For anything stuck to the diapers, I rinse it out in the sink with really hot water. It's kind of gross, but gets the job done and I do clean out the sink afterward. XD As you can see, I really need a diaper sprayer!

I use prefolds/covers. To clean the poo off my prefold cloth diapers I bend over to use the tub faucet and use the running water to scrub them with my hands as best I can. I then let them soak in water until the end of the day when I scrub them more before wringing them out and putting them in my dry pail liner.

"How do you get rid of the POOEY on your diapers?" Most just plop in the toilet and I let the washer do the rest! Messy poops can get tricky- I use liners sometimes, too.

meganwilliamson05@yahoo.com
When I was BFing I just threw them in the washer and thought ok easy enough. Then she got on solids the whole thing changed. I have to scrap the poop off into the toilet then I usually take the whole diaper and dip it into the toilet. If its not smashed into the diaper I can usually just dump it into the toilet but its not usually the case.

so im a little old fashioned as i hand wash and hang dry my diapers (hubby wont let me put diapers in washer or dryer) but i dont mind. In my opinion it keeps the elastics and snaps and color all better. To get rid of a pooey diapey I just rinse it off. my DD is strictly BF right now so its not a big deal.

We have well water, which makes our water pressure exremely low. So on those sticky poop days I find myself elbow deep into poopy toilet water, or scrubbing with a washcloth (yes I have “special” ones which I use ONLY for diapers) in the sink. I personally hate putting poop in the bathroom sink. With a diaper sprayer, it would allow me to spray the poop off the diaper right into the toilet, eliminating the need for me to have a hazmat shower after each and every diaper change.
